New David Foster Wallace

The literary world was saddened by the death of author David Foster Wallace in September. Rumors have been circulating that he had a novel in progress at the time of his death that will be published. That is just a rumor at this time. What is confirmed, however, is that Little, Brown will publish his address at the Kenyon College 2005 commencement ceremony. This was his only "philosophical public address," and portions of it have been quoted on-line and in print since his death. The book containing the complete address, This is the Water, is scheduled for publication in April 2009.
